At the ripe old age of 14 Thompson Tran started his cooking career at his family’s Vietnamese restaurant here in Langley, washing dishes and helping out with routine kitchen tasks. Although he spent the majority of his time as a youth studying the musical arts he consistently found himself in kitchen jobs. Now Chef Tran spends his time travelling, cooking and sharing the techniques and flavors he has developed and come to love from his time in the kitchen.  You may be familiar with his Nuoc Cham sauce, we have been selling it at Well Seasoned for about a year and our customers LOVE it. Tonight you can learn to elevate the flavours and explore the cuisine of Vietnam in your own kitchen. On the menu tonight; :

  • Spring Rolls & Nuoc Cham
  • Vietnamese Sour Salmon Soup
  • Crispy Pan-Fried Tilapia, wilted greens w/ Ginger-spiked Nuoc Cham
  • Pandan Sticky Rice w/ Sesame Peanut & Coconut Gratinee
