Every season we host a series of great workshops in our class kitchen designed to inspire folks as they get ready for "hosting season". From Thanksgiving to Christmas to Easter (and everything that falls between), here's our forthcoming feature classes to help you get through the season! Stay tuned for more (updated weekly).

 

Winter Dinner Parties with YOU & Chef Sue
Tuesday, November 19 @ 6:30- 9 P.M. | HANDS ON | $85

Celebrate the flavours & colours of winter as we work together to prepare an amazing Dinner Menu perfect for entertaining your family & friends this year.

    With the holidays approaching, it's time to start planning ahead & pull out our favourite party bites. Tonight Sue will be preparing a wonderful selection of appetizers from her catering repertoire that will make holiday entertaining fun and delicious! 

    • Thin crust Fig & Gorgonzola Pizza
    • Terrine of Pork, Veal, Pistachios & Cranberries
    • White Cheddar, Tarragon & Tomato Tarte
    • Crab Cakes with Basil Aioli
    • Seared Ahi Tuna with Ponzu & Hot Mustard

     

    Winter Suppers with Chef Helena
    Wednesday, December 4th @ 6:30 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. | DEMO | $80

    Running short on ideas to get you through the rest of the year? This class will provide you with some great ideas for family suppers or entertaining this winter.

    • West Coast Clam Chowder, so thick that you will need a fork
    • 12 hour slow cooked Osso Bucco Ragout with Pasta
    • Wild Mushroom Risotto
    • Garlicky Green Beans
    • Mini Cheesecakes with sparkling Blueberry Wine and Blueberries

    Hands-On Classes: These are interactive classes whose descriptions will state what is expected of students. Depending on the complexity of the menu (or the time it takes to complete certain dishes), a minimum of 1 recipe will be fully hands-on with other recipes being made by the chef. In some classes, all dishes are prepared by students. For our popular classes, students will work in groups to prepare dishes.

    Demo Classes: The chef does the cooking, making all the recipes in real time. The chef is keen to answer any questions you have while they work.

    You eat the food as it is prepared and take home the recipes.

    Vouchers can be used against this class. Buy your voucher and then contact us to reserve your seat in this class. Note: you are NOT booked in this class by buying a voucher until you contact us and you receive a confirmation from our team.
