Red Seal certified Chef Craig Scherer was born and raised in Alberta, Canada and completed his culinary arts education at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). After graduating, he held positions in Calgary’s SaltLik Steakhouse, Crush Restaurant & Lounge, Bermuda’s Fairmont Hotel Italian-concept restaurant, Bacci, and Vancouver’s Glowbal Group. Craig currently holds the position of Executive Chef at Bow & Stern in Abbotsford.
Craig lives in the Fraser valley with his wife and young kids, where he enjoys shopping for fresh, local ingredients at farmers markets, learning the ins and outs of vegetable gardening, and getting inspired at the local butcher shop.
