Corn Fritters

It's the simple things sometimes that are so delicious. Like these peak of summer corn fritters, just try and resist them!

Fresh Corn Fritters

A Well Seasoned Recipe - Visit us in store on 64th Avenue, in Langley, BC

  • 4 fresh cobs of corn, blanched in salted water for 3 minutes, cool & remove kernels from cob
  • 2 whole eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • sea salt and fresh black pepper
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Then generously coat a frying pan placed over medium-high heat with vegetable oil.
  2. With a tablespoon, scoop some of the mixture into the pan, like a small pancake.
  3. Cook on both sides until golden brown.
  4. Remove and serve immediately drizzled with fresh, local honey.
