If you haven't tried smash burgers...what are you waiting for? This one is quick and easy to make and the House of Q Rubs add a deliciously smoky taste that the whole family will love.
Yield: 4 burgers.
Cooking time: 10 minutes
- 1 lb Ground Beef (divided into 4 balls)
- 1 large White Onion (sliced paper-thin)
- 3 tbsp + more to taste House of Q House Rub*
- 4 slices American Cheese
* Available from Well Seasoned
1. Add 3 tbsp of House of Q seasoning rub to your ground beef and mix well. Divide into 4 and shape into balls
2. Place on hot griddle and place a handful of thinly sliced onions on top
3. Use the BBQ Devil press to smash each burger firmly
4. Let cook for a few minutes then flip once the bottom is crispy (or to your desired doneness)
5. Just before it's ready. place cheese slice on top to melt slightly
6. Serve on hamburger bun with your favourite toppings
