IT'S TEA MAGIC, NOT A TEA BAG
Tea Drops are organic, pressed teas that dissolve in hot water. Think a bath bomb, but it's tea and 20% less waste than a tea bag. Tea Drops are made with actual tea leaves, spices, and lightly sweetened with organic cane sugar.
There is nothing quite as refreshing than a big glass of iced tea on a hot summer day. At Well Seasoned we have created three varieties of tea to keep you hydrated all summer long.
To make a pitcher of our iced tea all you have to do is pour 1 liter of boiling water over an iced tea bag. Allow to steep for 5 mins, squeeze out any excess liquid and remove the tea bag. Dilute using a 3:1 ratio. 3 liters of water to 1 liter of concentrate, stir and sweeten to your taste. We recommend 1/8 cup of simple syrup per 4 liters.
We suggest you keep them in rotation all summer long. Have we mentioned, that they make a great addition to your cocktails? Iced Tea Sangria anyone?
Stop by the store or order online; you won't be disappointed!
Our teas are excellent on their own, but we suggest you mix it up by adding anything from fruit syrups to local scrubs.
Lemon and oranges are natural flavour compliments for our Southern Black Blend!
For our Organic Hibiscus Reserve, you can add a slice of fruit to garnish such as a lemon, strawberry, watermelon, orange, peach, apple or pear!
Is our Organic Lemon Green Antiox your go-to? Garnishes such as fresh spearmint, peppermint, rosemary, pineapple or cucumber can also add some sophistication!
Allspice berries, cloves, star anise, candied ginger, cinnamon, cranberries and peppercorns. Our Well Seasoned mulling spice flies off the shelf every November as folks get ready to celebrate the holiday and stave off the cold months of winter with a spicy cup of cheer. Whether you like it boozy or not, 'tis the season to enjoy a hot cup of comfort!
Mulled Wine: Gently simmer 2 bottles of red wine, 1/3 cup sugar and 3 tbsp of our mulling spice for up to 20 minutes. It's a great, aromatic treat to prepare just before your guests arrive. They'll be greeted with the comforting, spicy scent of the holidays as you hand them a hot mug of cheer. We like to serve it with a cinnamon stick!
Mulled Cider: Skip the wine and instead, simmer 2 litres of apple cider with 2 tbsp. of our mulling spice for 20 minutes. You can always add a splash of rum or brandy if you want to liven things up!
