Here are 10 meals and treats we LOVE cooking in cast iron: 

1. Perfectly Seared Ribeye Steak

Why cast iron: Retains extremely high heat for a perfect, even sear.

  • Sear steaks on high heat, finish in the oven if needed. 
  • Adds a beautiful crust while keeping the inside juicy.


2. Skillet Cornbread

Why cast iron: Provides a golden, crunchy crust while keeping the inside moist.

  • Pour batter into a preheated cast iron pan and bake.
  • Optional: brush with butter for extra flavour.


3. Classic Frittata

Why cast iron: Retains heat for even cooking on stovetop and oven finishing.

  • Sauté vegetables in pan, add eggs, cook on stove, then finish under broiler.
