Favuzzi Pizza Sauce

Made with crushed and sieved datterino tomatoes, scented with basil and oregano, and cooked on a base of a classic caramelized onion mirepoix made with extra virgin olive oil. Like all Favuzzi sauces, it is similar to well made, traditional, home cooked sauces – because it is made the same way: In small batches simmered over an open flame.
